Remove Mold and Mildew Out of Your Washing Machine With This Easy Trick!

Do your clothes smell strange when you get them out of the washing machine?

If there are black stains in the rubber rings or the powder compartment of your washing machine, it is a dangerous mold which causes the unpleasant smell and can seriously harm your health.

Washing machines are a perfect environment for mold, as they are warm and wet.

However, you can easily clean it, and this is all you need:

  • Baking soda and vinegar
  • 25 grams of salt of lemon or potassium hydrogen oxalate
  • A sponge
  • Rubber gloves

You should initially wipe it with the sponge in order to eliminate any dirt. Then, you should apply the chlorinated detergent over the rubber ring evenly, and close the door of the washing machine.

Leave it thus for a few hours, and afterward, set it on a ‘rinse’ cycle.  Pour some salt of lemon or potassium hydrogen oxalate in the detergent compartment and set it as high as it goes.

This will restore the shine of your washing machine and the freshness of your clothes!

Repeat this on every few weeks to be sure it has no mold, and leave the door open after each cycle.
